  • High Speed Pump Station Refurbishment
  • Complete Upgrade of a Water Treatment Facility originally built in 1942
  • Provided Bypass Pumping to allow the treatment facility to stay online during the 12 month project

Bates served as the General Contractor on this complete overhaul of an existing Water Treatment facility.  Over 75% of the contract was self-performed by Bates personnel.  Major features of the work included SCADA/VFD controlled 100% bypass pumping systems to maintain operations throughout the project, demolition and removal of existing cast iron piping systems along with high speed pumps, installation of all new plant underground piping and valves, new high speed pumps, new SCADA/telemetry, new emergency power systems, new chemical feed systems at two existing wells, and inspection of existing water storage tank.
