Bates was selected from among 30+ applicants to be the sole contract holder for this Single Award Task Order Contract for a 5-year contract period. During this time, Bates successfully completed several design/build projects throughout the service area at four different military installations in Alabama. This specialized contract vehicle allowed Bates to use its unique engineering background to help USACE deliver top quality projects for its Clients at much faster project durations than can be realized in traditional delivery methods. In many cases, Bates was directly involved in USACE’s charettes with the User to help ensure the team was providing construction solutions to allow them to better fulfill their mission within national defense.
