Bates Engineers/Contractors, Inc. was selected as the Prime Contractor on this Simulator Facility located in Florida. Unique project features include the use of helical and rammed aggregate piers during foundation installation, 250-car pervious concrete parking lot, and special communications infrastructure to support the facility mission. The building received LEED Gold Certification from USGBC—the first building to achieve this Certification on this Military Installation.
